About Us

Stop the Violence - Connect with Nature

We Run for Ali was formed in response to the murder of Ali Husain Jean and primarily aims to minimize the plague of youth crimes in Montreal, Canada and Haiti.

The non profit grass root organization helps strengthen families, and allows minority youths and young adults to connect with nature through it's Bien-Être - Be Well program. This program incorporates many free family fun activities and events for which details can be found on our calendar/activity web page or on our social media accounts.

To further address the rise of youth crimes in Montreal, Canada, We Run For Ali is working to offer the youth and young adults of minority communities an  intergenerational programs where they can learn from an elder  through creative art and story telling to facilitate transfer of information this mentorship would allow the elderly to transfer their knowledge and create ties with the younger generation.

We Run for Ali also strives to reduce the violence that afflicts the country of Haiti. Doing so mainly by providing Tutoring and Mentorship in terms of sustainable agriculture practices, business development, and waste recovery as well as providing the community with basic goods and services such as clothing, food, potable water, school supplies, and pop up exposition halls for them to share their art with the world.
